Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the Pin the Hex mobile apps, website, web challenges, multiplayer features, rankings, and related services. By using Pin the Hex, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
Pin the Hex is intended for people age 16 and older and is not directed to children under 16. If the law where you live requires permission from a parent or guardian, you may use the service only with that permission.
License and ownership
Pin the Hex grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for lawful, non-commercial play. Pin the Hex and its original software, artwork, game design, text, and other content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of that content to you.
Acceptable use
You may not cheat, automate gameplay, manipulate scores or ratings, interfere with matchmaking or service operation, probe or bypass security controls, reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits it, impersonate another person, use abusive or misleading display names, harass other players, or use Pin the Hex for unlawful activity. You may not use the service to infringe another person's rights.
Gameplay and online services
Scores, Elo ratings, rankings, matchmaking, challenge availability, and other online features may change, reset, be delayed, or become unavailable. Network, platform, moderation, security, maintenance, and anti-abuse needs may affect service operation. Pin the Hex does not guarantee a particular opponent, ranking, score, reward, or uninterrupted session.
Platform accounts and third-party services
Some features depend on Apple, Google, Meta, Firebase, Game Center, Play Games, the App Store, Google Play, or other third-party services. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms. Pin the Hex is not responsible for third-party outages, account restrictions, payment processing, or changes to those services.
Purchases and advertising
Pin the Hex may display advertising to free players. The optional Remove Ads purchase is processed by the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android. Prices, taxes, billing, refunds, and purchase eligibility are governed by the applicable store. Purchases are platform-specific and do not transfer between iPhone and Android unless the service expressly says otherwise.
Feedback
If you send suggestions or feedback, you grant Pin the Hex permission to use them without restriction or compensation. Do not send confidential information or content that you do not have the right to share.
Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or ended when reasonably necessary to protect players, enforce these Terms, comply with law or platform requirements, investigate abuse, or maintain the service. You may stop using Pin the Hex at any time and can remove app-local information by deleting the app.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pin the Hex is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or preservation of any score, rating, ranking, or game record. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pin the Hex is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of opportunity, service interruption, or third-party conduct arising from use of the service. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
These Terms may change when the service, platform requirements, or applicable law changes. The effective date above will be updated when revised Terms are published. Continued use after a revision becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms.
